Ace (a wolf) is the second oldest male in the Dakota Ridge pack, and is therefore the beta male. He was introduced to the pack as a young puppy, having originally come from a zoo. He hopes to someday become the alpha male, and looks up to Blazer as an example. This makes him as bad a flirter as the older male, and doesn't show him any leadership skills at all. Ace isn't related in any way to BJ or Corky, but almost tends to be a better 'parent' to them than Blazer.
Arno (a parrot) loves to tease and crack jokes about the various animals on the reservation, especially the wolves. He and Dakota many times have contests of who can come up with the best 'name' for the other.
Blazer Jr., more commonly known as BJ (a wolf) is the son of Blazer and Kess. He's , to put it bluntly, crazy. An avid sniffer, he'll sniff just about anything; much to the dislike of everyone not paying attention to their rears. The odd thing about this, however is the fact he has zero sense of smell. This fact embarrasses him, and he makes every effort to keep his handicap a secret.
