Kess (a wolf) is Blazer's mate and alpha female of the Dakota's Ridge pack. Mother of BJ and Corky, she quickly adopted Rocky to her care when he came to stay. She has a very gentle temperment, but if anyone trys and harm her family or friends, she's a force to be reckoned with.
Logan is a fox that wishes he was a wolf. He tries to prove himself to the Dakota's Ridge pack anytime he can, although his attempts always seem to be foiled by a certain squirrel.
Misty (a wolf) is Shadow's mate's sister, and also the beta female of his pack. While still agreeing with the traditional values of the pack, she, many times, has to keep Shadow in line as he tends to overdo them. She watches over Sandy, as the young pup is the only thing she has left to remind her of her sister, who was killed as the pack ran from hunters.
